ACE Marquee - Orlando, FL - 11/19/24
The episode of ACE Marquee begins with a thunderous introduction from Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees, seated ringside in front of a lively Orlando crowd. Ryland enthusiastically reminds viewers that November Reign is just days away, promising an unforgettable night of action. Rees chimes in, hyping the rivalries and matches building toward the event, including the Chaos Riders’ grudge against the Sons of Samoa. With that, the commentary team pivots to the opening bout, a tag team clash between the returning Chaos Riders and members of the Foreign Legion, Nikita Petrov and Count Hammerli Von Fluker.
The Chaos Riders—Mastadon and Inferno—make their entrance to a roaring ovation, their trademark tough-guy swagger intact despite the visible remnants of their brutal beatdown by the Sons of Samoa weeks prior. Their movements are measured, with Mastadon favoring his ribs and Inferno occasionally rolling his shoulder, but their intensity hasn’t waned.
The Foreign Legion’s ominous theme hits next, and Petrov and Von Fluker stride to the ring accompanied by the sinister General Zhang, who sneers at the crowd. The villains’ cold, calculated demeanor contrasts sharply with the Riders’ fiery resolve, setting the stage for an explosive encounter.
The bell rings, and Mastadon starts things off against Petrov. The two behemoths collide with a series of shoulder tackles, neither man budging at first. Mastadon gains the upper hand with a big boot, staggering Petrov before driving him into the corner and tagging in Inferno. Inferno comes in hot with sharp kicks to Petrov’s midsection, followed by a perfectly executed neckbreaker for an early two-count.
Von Fluker tags in, his methodical, bruising style immediately shifting the momentum. He traps Inferno in a punishing bear hug, wrenching his injured shoulder. Inferno fights out with a flurry of elbows, but Von Fluker catches him with a thunderous powerslam for a near fall. Petrov tags back in, and the Foreign Legion isolates Inferno, targeting his shoulder with ruthless precision.
The Chaos Riders rally as Inferno counters a suplex from Petrov into a stinging DDT, crawling to his corner to tag in Mastadon. The powerhouse storms into the ring, delivering devastating clotheslines to both Petrov and Von Fluker. He lifts Von Fluker for a massive sidewalk slam and roars, feeding off the crowd’s energy. The Riders take control, hitting their signature double-team maneuvers, including a tandem backbreaker and a double suplex.
Just as the momentum swings fully in the Riders’ favor, Himalaya steps over the ropes and goes straight for Mastadon and Inferno. Himalaya levels Mastadon with a devastating big boot before grabbing Inferno by the throat and chokeslamming him with authority.
The referee calls for the bell, disqualifying Petrov and Von Fluker at 8:58, but the Foreign Legion doesn’t care. Himalaya continues his rampage, delivering the Chokeslam from Everest to Mastadon as Petrov and Von Fluker join in the assault. Together, they stomp and pummel the Chaos Riders, leaving them battered and motionless in the ring.
The Orlando crowd erupts in jeers as General Zhang enters the ring, barking orders at his Legion. Himalaya, Petrov, and Von Fluker stand tall over the fallen Chaos Riders, soaking in the crowd’s disdain. Zhang raises Himalaya’s hand, declaring this just a taste of the Foreign Legion’s dominance at November Reign.
As the camera pans over the wreckage in the ring, Ryland and Rees voice their outrage. Ryland condemns the Foreign Legion’s brutal tactics, while Rees questions how much more the Chaos Riders can endure. With the scene set for the chaotic battles ahead, the show cuts to commercial, leaving viewers eager for what’s next.
As we return from commercial, Ward Rees is visibly furious at the announce table, calling out the despicable actions of Himalaya and the Foreign Legion during the previous segment. His partner, Darrell Ryland, tries to temper his outrage, but Rees refuses to hold back, berating the Foreign Legion for their cowardly attack on the Chaos Riders.
The camera cuts to the ring, where Himalaya, Count Hammerli Von Fluker, and Nikita Petrov are now joined by ACE Television Champion Cael Gardner and their malevolent leader, General Zhang. The Orlando crowd showers them with boos, but Zhang stands unfazed, gripping the microphone with a smug expression.
“Listen to the pathetic wails of the sheep!” Zhang begins, his voice cutting through the crowd’s jeers. “What you witnessed moments ago was only the beginning. The Foreign Legion is here to dominate, to conquer, and to make ACE bow before us. One by one, your so-called heroes will fall. Starting with the Chaos Riders, then Johnny Roach, and then everyone else who dares to oppose us.”
Rees, still standing at the announce table, points an accusing finger toward the ring. “You’re a disgrace, Zhang! You and your goons are nothing but cowards!” The crowd cheers wildly for Rees’ boldness, but Zhang’s expression turns cold.
“Ward Rees,” Zhang sneers, glaring at the veteran announcer. “You sit there, running your mouth like the old fool you are. Mark my words—you will be dealt with in due time. But tonight is not your night. Sit down and know your place!”
Before Rees can respond, Gentleman Geoffrey Hastings’ elegant theme music hits, and the crowd erupts. Hastings steps onto the stage, dressed in his trademark velvet robe, and strides confidently toward the ring. He briefly glances at Rees and gives him a respectful nod before stepping between the ropes. The crowd rallies behind Hastings as he prepares for his shot at the ACE Television Championship.
The referee holds up the title belt, signaling the start of the match. As the bell rings, Cael Gardnerimmediately goes on the attack, using his superior technical prowess to take control. Gardner wrestles Hastings to the mat with a series of grapples and transitions, showcasing why he’s been such a dominant champion. Hastings struggles to find an opening, as Gardner stays one step ahead with takedowns and stiff strikes.
The crowd begins to rally behind Hastings, and he mounts a comeback, ducking a clothesline and hitting a running European uppercut. Gardner stumbles, and Hastings capitalizes with a beautiful butterfly suplex for a near fall. The match shifts into high gear, with Hastings unleashing a flurry of offense, including a textbook bridging German suplex for another close two-count.
Every time Hastings seems poised to take control, however, General Zhang inserts himself into the action. Zhang distracts the referee, allowing Gardner to deliver a low blow behind the official’s back. Gardner then traps Hastings in a vicious crossface, wrenching his neck and taunting the crowd as he does so. Hastings refuses to give up, clawing his way to the ropes for a break.
The interference continues, with Zhang grabbing Hastings’ leg at a key moment, causing him to stumble. Ward Rees becomes visibly more agitated at the announce table, slamming his hands down in frustration. “This is an absolute farce!” Rees exclaims. “How long are we going to let Zhang and his thugs get away with this?”
The tide shifts again as Hastings counters Gardner’s Olympic Slam attempt into a swinging neckbreaker, igniting the crowd. Hastings follows up with his signature Gentleman’s Guillotine, locking in the sleeper hold in the center of the ring. The crowd roars, believing the title is about to change hands, but Gardner manages to back Hastings into the corner, breaking the hold.
In the match’s final moments, Zhang distracts the referee once more, allowing Gardner to rake Hastings’ eyes. Blinded, Hastings stumbles directly into Gardner’s clutches, and the champion delivers a devastating Olympic Slam, driving Hastings into the mat. Gardner hooks the leg and secures the pinfall victory at 10:03, retaining the ACE Television Championship.
After the match, the Foreign Legion surrounds Hastings, and it looks like another post-match beatdown is imminent. Himalaya steps over the ropes, glaring menacingly at Hastings as Von Fluker and Petrov flank him. The crowd boos loudly, sensing the impending chaos.
Suddenly, Ward Rees throws off his headset and storms into the ring. The crowd explodes with cheers as the veteran slides under the ropes, steel chair in hand. Rees stands defiantly between the Foreign Legion and Hastings, shouting at Zhang and daring his men to step forward.
Zhang raises a hand, signaling his Legion to stand down. “Not today, Rees,” Zhang sneers. “But soon. Very soon.” The Foreign Legion retreats to heavy boos, leaving Rees to check on Hastings as the show heads to commercial, the crowd firmly behind the beloved announcer.
As we return from commercial, the scene cuts to the parking lot, where chaos has erupted. Chase Barclay, flanked by Jarvis “The Genius” Allen and Arn Fargo, are locked in a wild, all-out brawl with Claude Heuer and the Nigerian Hit Squad—Rhino Rafiq and Midnight Panther.
The camera pans to show Miss Cavendish, standing to the side and shrieking in her unmistakably piercing voice. “You ruffians! You’ll pay for this!” she screams as her high heels click on the asphalt, narrowly avoiding the action.
Barclay Investment Group seems to have the upper hand at first, with Allen slamming Rafiq against the hood of a car and Fargo driving a shoulder into Panther’s midsection, pinning him against a nearby SUV. Meanwhile, Chase Barclay hammers away at Claude Heuer, shouting, “You’ll regret ever stepping into my business, Heuer!”
But the tide quickly turns as Heuer rallies, grabbing Barclay by the collar and slamming him onto the hood of a sedan. The sound of metal denting echoes through the lot as the crowd watching on the screen cheers. Rafiq, meanwhile, catches Allen with a big boot, sending him sprawling across the pavement, while Panther executes a swift dropkick that sends Fargo crashing into the side mirror of a nearby vehicle.
“Get off me!” Cavendish shrieks as Panther momentarily turns toward her, causing her to retreat behind Barclay for protection. “You’ll regret that, you oversized feline!”
The brawl continues to escalate, with both sides trading devastating blows. Allen picks up a traffic cone and hurls it at Rafiq, but the big man ducks and counters with a powerful forearm that sends Allen stumbling. Meanwhile, Fargo rakes Panther’s eyes and drives him face-first into a parked car, denting the door.
Security finally arrives in force, several officials and referees rushing into the melee to try to restore order. However, separating the two factions proves difficult, as Heuer leaps over a security guard to tackle Barclay, sending both men tumbling onto the pavement. Rafiq hoists a trash can above his head, attempting to swing it at Allen, only to have it snatched away by an official.
Amidst the chaos, Miss Cavendish continues screaming insults, now aiming them directly at the Nigerian Hit Squad. “You primitive brutes! You’ll never hold those titles again, do you hear me? Never!” she yells, her voice cutting through the commotion.
As the guards finally start to separate the men, the shouting continues. Barclay, with a torn suit and disheveled hair, points a finger at Heuer. “You’re finished, Heuer! You’ll regret ever crossing me!”
Meanwhile, Rafiq and Panther, bruised but defiant, fire back with their own taunts. “We’ll see who’s finished, Barclay!” Panther roars, holding up a fist. “At November Reign, those titles are coming back where they belong!”
The officials and security guards manage to drag the factions apart, but the tension remains palpable. As Cavendish attempts to fix her hair, she spits out one last insult. “Get those savages out of here!”
The camera lingers on the chaotic aftermath—dented cars, scattered debris, and furious competitors still trying to get at each other—as the scene fades out.
As the show returns, the camera pans to the ring where Reverend Elijah Cross stands, flanked by Rebel Jimmy Lee and the ominous Simbi Loa. Cross will be facing Austin Adonis at November Reign in the 2024 Tournament of Aces Final. Dressed in his usual smug confidence, Cross raises a microphone to his lips.
“Brothers and sisters,” he begins, his voice dripping with false piety, “the Good Book—my Good Book—teaches us that there is a time for every purpose under heaven. And tonight, the purpose is clear: I, your chosen one, have been tasked with removing false idols, and that starts with Austin Adonis! I even found a scripture just for him!” Cross pauses dramatically, opening a worn Bible, though clearly improvising. “From the book of Cross, chapter 7, verse 10: ‘Lo, the Hollywood pretender shall be brought low, humbled before the righteous.’ And my faithful servant, the mighty Simbi Loa, will carry out that holy work tonight.”
The crowd boos furiously as Cross smirks. Rebel Jimmy Lee stands beside him, nodding and sneering at the fans, while Loa, holding his signature skulls on a chain, glares menacingly at the entrance ramp. Cross continues, “Austin Adonis, tonight you will kneel before your true savior! And—”
Before he can finish, Austin Adonis’ music hits, cutting him off. The crowd erupts with cheers as Adonis strides onto the stage, confidence radiating from his every move. Adonis grabs a microphone as he heads toward the ring.
“Cross, I’ve heard enough of your fake sermons! You and your little crew of freaks can’t stop me tonight, and you definitely can’t stop me at November Reign!” Adonis tosses the mic aside and rolls into the ring, ready to fight.
The bell rings, and the match begins with Simbi Loa taking advantage early as Adonis is distracted by Cross and Lee, who shout taunts from ringside. Loa uses his raw power to slam Adonis into the corner, delivering clubbing blows to the back and following up with a vicious body slam.
Loa tries to maintain control, but Adonis quickly rallies, using his speed and agility to mount a comeback. He dodges a wild swing from Loa and counters with a standing dropkick that sends the big man stumbling. The crowd roars as Adonis capitalizes with a series of punches and a spinebuster that rocks the ring.
When Rebel Jimmy Lee climbs onto the apron to interfere, Adonis turns his attention to him, grabbing Lee and delivering a thunderous suplex into the ring. The crowd erupts as Lee rolls out, clutching his back in pain.
Back in the ring, Adonis turns his focus back to Loa, ducking a clothesline and hitting a Hollywood Slam (Rock Bottom) to the delight of the fans. He follows up with his signature Big Leg Drop, covering Loa for the pin at 6:38. The referee’s hand hits three, and the crowd explodes in cheers as Adonis stands tall.
Before Adonis can celebrate for long, Reverend Elijah Cross and Rebel Jimmy Lee, now recovered, slide into the ring, looking to ambush him. The numbers game looms large until Ambassador Patrick Ford and Judge Joe Ridge storm down the ramp to an enormous ovation.
Ford and Ridge slide into the ring, evening the odds and quickly going after Cross and Lee. Ford lands a series of punches on Lee, sending him retreating to the outside, while Ridge squares off with Cross, who quickly escapes under the bottom rope to avoid further damage.
Cross and his followers retreats up the ramp, glaring back at the ring as Adonis, Ford, and Ridge stand tall. The three raise their fists to the cheering crowd as the show heads to commercial.
As the show returns, the ring announcer introduces the competitors for the upcoming tag team match. The crowd cheers loudly as Keme Dakotah, the young powerhouse from Omaha, strides to the ring, intense focus etched on his face. At his side is the lightning-quick Tanji Michio, who hypes up the fans with his acrobatic movements and high-energy demeanor.
Their opponents are met with a chorus of boos as The Wild Stallion Cody Montana makes his entrance, flanked by his slick-talking partner, The Gambler Slim Elroy. Montana confidently twirls a bullrope in his hands, mocking Dakotah with a sly smirk, while Elroy struts behind him, waving his cowboy hat and taunting the fans. The tension in the air is palpable, especially after the announcement of the bullrope match between Dakotah and Montana at November Reign.
The bell rings, and the match begins with Tanji Michio and Slim Elroy squaring off. Michio uses his speed to outmaneuver Elroy, delivering a series of quick kicks and a springboard arm drag that sends Elroy scrambling to his corner. Elroy tags in Montana, and the big cowboy enters the ring, gesturing for Dakotah to step in.
The crowd erupts as Dakotah tags in, and the two rivals go nose-to-nose in the center of the ring, exchanging trash talk before erupting into a flurry of punches. The sheer power of both men is on full display as Montana connects with a shoulder tackle, but Dakotah pops right back up and answers with a powerful scoop slam that shakes the ring.
Montana tags out to Elroy, who tries to outsmart Dakotah with quick, crafty moves, but Dakotah overpowers him, slamming him into the mat with a thunderous belly-to-belly suplex. Dakotah tags Michio back in, and Michio lights up Elroy with a dazzling sequence of flips and kicks, culminating in a moonsault for a close two-count.
Montana breaks up the pin and drags Michio to his corner, where he and Elroy begin to isolate the high-flyer with quick tags and underhanded tactics. Michio takes a beating but refuses to stay down, eventually slipping out of Montana’s grasp with a stunning tornado DDT. The crowd comes alive as Michio crawls to his corner and tags in Dakotah, who charges in like a freight train.
Dakotah clears house, leveling both Montana and Elroy with powerful clotheslines. He grabs Montana and hoists him up for a running powerslam, but Elroy sneaks into the ring and rakes Dakotah’s eyes, forcing him to drop Montana. The referee is momentarily distracted by Elroy, allowing Montana to recover and grab Dakotah by the tights, pulling him into a corner where Elroy grabs his legs for leverage.
In the chaos, Montana rolls up Dakotah, with Elroy applying extra pressure from outside the ring. The referee counts the three, and the crowd boos as Montana and Elroy steal the win at 10:27.
After the bell, Montana and Elroy quickly slide out of the ring, raising their arms in triumph. Montana grabs the bullrope from ringside and mockingly twirls it above his head, pointing at Dakotah and shouting, “See you at November Reign, boy!” Elroy adds fuel to the fire with his obnoxious taunts, tipping his cowboy hat before disappearing into the locker room.
In the ring, Dakotah glares after them, fuming over the loss. Michio tries to console him, but Dakotah’s focus is clear: he’s ready to settle the score with Montana once and for all in the bullrope match. The show heads to commercial as Dakotah looks out at the retreating Montana, vowing revenge.
As the show returns from its final break, the crowd is buzzing with anticipation. The ring is set up with a table, chairs, and the ACE World Championship contract placed neatly in the center. Conway Marshall, standing tall in a sharp suit, holds a microphone in one hand and the contract in the other.
Out first is Tavita Silk, accompanied by his enforcers, Kimo and Tua, the monstrous Sons of Samoa. Silk exudes confidence as he strides to the ring, soaking in the boos from the Orlando crowd. Kimo and Tua flank him menacingly, their presence a clear reminder of the odds stacked against Johnny Roach. Once in the ring, Silk picks up a mic and grins smugly.
“Well, well, well,” Silk begins, “it looks like Roach is all out of allies. The Chaos Riders? Taken care of. General Zhang executes his plans perfectly. And come November Reign, I’ll be walking out of that cage as the ACE World Champion!” The crowd rains boos, but Silk smirks, loving the heat.
The arena erupts with cheers as Johnny Roach’s music hits, and the ACE World Champion appears on the stage, his title slung over his shoulder. Roach looks fired up and ready to fight, though notably, he’s alone, with no sign of The Chaos Riders after their earlier beatdown. Roach marches down the ramp, his eyes locked on Silk, ignoring the jeers from Kimo and Tua as he climbs into the ring.
Conway Marshall steps in to maintain order. “Gentlemen, please,” he says. “We’re here to finalize the contract for the Steel Cage Match at November Reign, where the ACE World Championship will be on the line. Now, let’s keep this professional.”
Marshall places the contract on the table and slides it toward Silk, who grabs the pen. “Professional? That’s funny, Conway,” Silk sneers. “Because there’s nothing professional about what I’m going to do to this punk in that cage.” He signs the contract with a flourish, then shoves the pen across the table toward Roach.
Roach picks up the pen and glares at Silk. “You talk a big game, Silk. But at November Reign, there’ll be no Sons of Samoa to save you. Just me, you, and that cage. And trust me, I’m walking out still the champ.” He signs the contract and slams the pen down on the table.
The tension explodes as Roach suddenly flips the table, sending papers and chairs flying. He lunges at Silk, landing a flurry of punches before Kimo and Tua can react. The crowd goes wild as Roach fights with everything he has, trying to take down Silk.
But the numbers game quickly catches up. The Sons of Samoa overpower Roach, dragging him off Silk and delivering brutal punches and kicks. Silk recovers and joins in, the three-on-one assault drawing thunderous boos from the crowd.
Suddenly, the lights flicker, and the crowd erupts as Beulah Roy’s music hits. The veteran street fighter sprints down the ramp, steel chair in hand. The Sons of Samoa turn to face him, but Roy slides into the ring and swings the chair with reckless abandon, cracking it across Kimo’s back and then Tua’s ribs.
Silk tries to escape, but Roach recovers and grabs him by the arm, pulling him back into the ring. Roach and Roy work together to clear the ring, sending Kimo and Tua tumbling to the outside with chair shots before focusing on Silk. Roach nails Silk with a Roach Clip DDT, and the crowd erupts as Silk rolls out of the ring, clutching his head in pain.
With the Sons of Samoa retreating up the ramp, Silk shouts threats at Roach and Roy, but the two stand tall in the ring. Roach raises his championship high while Roy points menacingly at Silk, the steel chair still in his hand.
At the commentary table, Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees hype up the match. “Johnny Roach may have an ally in Beulah Roy, but inside that steel cage, it’s going to be one-on-one!” Ryland exclaims. “Can Roach overcome the odds and retain his title, or will Tavita Silk become the new ACE World Champion?”
Rees adds, “One thing’s for sure, you won’t want to miss November Reign!”
The show fades to black as Roach and Roy stand tall, the crowd roaring in approval.
