ACE Marquee - 11/26/24
ACE Marquee – 11/26/24 - Portland, OR
Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees welcome us to the show, recapping November Reign, where we crowned a new Tournament of Aces winner and saw Tavita Silk capture the ACE World Championship. The commentators hype the main event showdown set for Parade of Champions on December 29th in Chicago, where Austin Adonis will challenge Silk for the title.
The camera pans to the ring where Conway Marshall stands with the Tournament of Aces trophy, ready to address the crowd.
Conway Marshall:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ACE Marquee! We are just weeks away from Parade of Champions, the grandest stage in wrestling! But tonight, we celebrate the incredible journey of one man who fought through the best of the best to claim victory in the 2024 Tournament of Aces. Please join me in welcoming your Tournament of Aces winner… AUSTIN ADONIS!”
Austin Adonis’ music hits, and the crowd erupts into thunderous applause. Adonis makes his way down the aisle, slapping hands with fans before climbing into the ring. He soaks in the cheers, visibly fired up, before shaking hands with Marshall.
Marshall officially presents him with the Tournament of Aces trophy, raising his hand in victory as pyro goes off.
Adonis takes the mic, pacing the ring as he addresses the crowd.
Austin Adonis:
“Thank you, Portland! Thank you to all the people out there! This trophy right here is a testament to the power of YOU, the fans! Each and every one of you gave me the strength to keep fighting, to overcome the odds, and to rise to the top! And now, the time has come to climb even higher. On December 29th, at Parade of Champions, I’m walking into Chicago with one mission—to take down Tavita Silk and bring that ACE World Championship home to the people!”
The crowd roars as Adonis flexes and hypes them up.
Austin Adonis:
“Tavita Silk, you can bring all your tricks, all your muscle, and all your bravado, but it won’t matter. Because when the people are behind me, there’s no mountain too high, no obstacle too big! And when the dust settles in Chicago, all the power, the glory, and the gold will belong to the good guys!”
Suddenly, Tavita Silk’s music hits, and the atmosphere shifts as the crowd boos loudly. Silk walks out onto the stage with the ACE World Championship strapped around his waist, flanked by Kimo and Tua, the Samoan Warriors. Silk smirks as he gestures at the title, mockingly clapping for Adonis.
Silk steps forward with a mic, looking down at the ring as Adonis stares him down.
Tavita Silk:
“Look at you, Adonis. So proud, so full of hope. That’s cute. Enjoy this moment while you can, because that trophy you’re holding? It’s meaningless compared to THIS!”
Silk points to his championship belt, drawing more boos from the crowd.
Tavita Silk:
“You think you’re riding high now, huh? All these people chanting your name, believing in you. But let me make one thing very clear: your climb to the top stops here. You’re looking at the real deal, the ACE World Champion! I didn’t just win this title—I took it. I earned it by crushing everyone in my path. And come Parade of Champions, I’ll do the same to you.”
Adonis glares at Silk, pacing in the ring before stepping up to the ropes.
Austin Adonis:
“You talk a big game, Silk. Why don’t you back it up right now? Bring your goons, bring your belt, and let’s settle this in the ring TONIGHT!”
The crowd explodes as Adonis challenges Silk.
Silk chuckles, shaking his head.
Tavita Silk:
“Oh, Adonis, you really don’t get it, do you? You don’t dictate the terms here—I do. I’m the champion, and you? You’re just the guy who gets to lose to me next month. Your time will come… but it’s not tonight. So enjoy your little moment in the spotlight, because at Parade of Champions, I’m going to snuff it out for good.”
Silk drops the mic, smirking as he turns to leave with Kimo and Tua following behind him. The crowd boos as Adonis leans on the ropes, pointing at Silk and shouting, “Your time is coming, Silk!”
Darrell Ryland:
“What a fiery exchange to kick off tonight’s show! Austin Adonis is ready for the fight of his life, but Tavita Silk clearly isn’t intimidated!”
Ward Rees:
“Adonis has the momentum, but Silk is a dangerous man. With Kimo and Tua by his side, he’ll stop at nothing to stay on top. Adonis better watch his back!”
The show transitions to the first match of the night.
After the fiery opening segment, the crowd buzzes as the lights dim and the haunting, eerie theme of Belial Fish fills the arena. The ring is bathed in shadows and flickering red lights as Fish appears at the entrance ramp, his face stoic and menacing. Slowly making his way to the ring, he methodically climbs through the ropes, never breaking his cold gaze toward the stage.
The energy changes as Calgary Hart’s music hits, a raucous cheer erupting from the fans. Hart bursts out onto the stage, full of energy, hyping the crowd up with a series of fist pumps. Sporting his signature red and white gear in homage to his Canadian roots, Hart slides into the ring, meeting Fish’s icy stare with confidence.
The bell rings, and the two competitors circle each other before locking up. The initial exchange is a test of technical ability, as Hart transitions into a wrist lock, but Fish counters into a hammerlock. Both men exchange quick holds and escapes, showcasing their technical prowess and earning applause from the crowd.
Fish takes control early with a series of precise strikes—forearms and knee strikes that drive Hart into the corner. Fish attempts a running knee, but Hart dodges, countering with a snap suplex that sends Fish sprawling. Hart capitalizes with a flurry of offense, hitting a beautiful spinning heel kick that earns him a two-count.
Momentum shifts as Fish catches Hart attempting a springboard elbow, countering into a brutal half-and-half suplex. Fish stalks Hart, hitting stiff kicks to the chest, followed by a swinging neckbreaker for a close near fall.
Hart fights back, ducking a lariat and hitting a Russian leg sweep. Feeding off the crowd’s energy, he follows with a series of quick moves: a snapmare dropkick and a springboard crossbody, nearly scoring the win. Sensing victory, Hart locks in the Sharpshooter, dragging Fish to the center of the ring.
The crowd roars as Fish screams in pain, clawing his way to the ropes. With sheer determination, Fish finally grabs the bottom rope, forcing the break. Hart slaps the mat in frustration but doesn’t relent, pulling Fish to his feet for a DDT attempt.
Fish counters with a thunderous spinebuster, leaving both men down. Slowly rising, Fish seizes the advantage, delivering a flurry of strikes before locking in the Black Cloverleaf, his devastating inverted cloverleaf submission.
Hart struggles, clawing toward the ropes, but Fish drags him back to the center of the ring. The pain proves too much, and Hart taps out, giving Fish the victory at 12:26.
Fish rises to his feet, emotionless as the referee raises his hand. He glances back at the fallen Hart before exiting the ring, his mission complete. Meanwhile, Hart receives applause from the crowd for his valiant effort as he’s helped to the back by officials.
Darrell Ryland:
“What a match! Calgary Hart gave it his all, but Belial Fish’s precision and unrelenting submission game proved too much tonight.”
Ward Rees:
“Hart has nothing to be ashamed of—he took Fish to the limit. But Belial Fish is on another level, and this win just solidifies him as one of the most dangerous competitors in ACE.”
The show heads to commercial as the commentators tease what’s coming up next.
Back from commercial break and the camera cuts backstage where Shania Wheatley, poised and professional, stands with a fired-up Beulah Roy, clad in his jeans and t-shirt New York-inspired gear. The Irish-American brawler adjusts his leather jacket as Shania introduces him.
Shania Wheatley:
“Beulah, tonight you go one-on-one with Rebel Jimmy Lee, a man who prides himself on his Southern grit. How are you feeling heading into this matchup?”
Beulah Roy:
“How am I feelin’, Shania? I’ll tell ya how I’m feelin’. I’m feelin’ like tonight’s the night I remind everyone what this Yank is all about. That so-called Rebel? He thinks he’s got grit? Please. I grew up fightin’ on the streets of New York. Grit ain’t just somethin’ I have, it’s in my blood. Rebel Jimmy Lee? He’s just another name on my list, and tonight, he’s gettin’ a firsthand lesson in what happens when you step up to Beulah Roy.”
Beulah adjusts his taped fists, smirking with a mix of confidence and intensity.
Beulah Roy (leaning into the camera):
“So Jimmy, bring your Southern drawl, your cowboy hat, and your best shot. But know this—when the bell rings, you’ll be facin’ the toughest, meanest Irish Yank to ever step in this ring. And when I hit you with that Beulah Bomb, it’ll be lights out. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got business to take care of.”
Roy storms off, leaving Shania to send it back to ringside.
The arena shifts to a Southern rock vibe as Rebel Jimmy Lee’s music hits. Lee makes his entrance in his signature leather vest, exuding his rebellious attitude. He confidently strides to the ring, jawing with fans along the way.
The mood changes when Beulah Roy’s music blares through the speakers. The New York crowd erupts as Roy marches down the ramp with a no-nonsense attitude. He briefly acknowledges the fans before sliding into the ring, his intense stare locked on Lee.
The bell rings, and Roy immediately takes the fight to Lee, charging at him with a series of stiff punches and clubbing blows. The Rebel tries to mount some offense, but Roy is relentless, grounding him with a powerful back body drop and following it up with a running elbow drop.
Roy continues to dominate, hitting Lee with a belly-to-belly suplex and dragging him up for a series of stiff European uppercuts. Lee tries to fight back with quick jabs and a snap DDT, but his offense is short-lived. Roy counters a lariat attempt with a brutal spinebuster that sends the crowd into a frenzy.
With the momentum firmly in his favor, Roy signals for the end. He hoists Lee onto his shoulders and delivers the Beulah Bomb, for the decisive pinfall at 7:52.
As Roy celebrates his victory, the crowd boos as Reverend Elijah Cross sprints down the ramp. Cross blindsides Roy with a vicious clothesline, dropping him instantly. The crowd’s jeers grow louder as Rebel Jimmy Lee joins in, the two heels stomping away at Roy in a brutal double-team assault.
Cross demands a microphone as Lee continues to hold Roy down.
Reverend Elijah Cross:
“Look at this man! Look at him, lying here like the heathen he is! This is what happens to those who stray from the righteous path! Beulah Roy represents everything wrong in this world—violence, arrogance, and rebellion against the word of the Almighty!”
The Reverend kneels beside the fallen Roy, his voice growing louder and more fervent.
Reverend Elijah Cross:
“The people need salvation! They need a leader to guide them, to save them from men like Beulah Roy! And that leader is ME! Follow me, my brothers and sisters, and you will find the light!”
Cross stands, raising his arms in mock benediction as Lee kicks Roy out of the ring. The two heels stand tall as the crowd showers them with boos, the camera focusing on Roy, who clutches his ribs in pain as he glares back at his attackers.
Darrell Ryland:
“An absolutely disgusting display by Reverend Elijah Cross and Rebel Jimmy Lee! Beulah Roy just fought his heart out, and this is the thanks he gets?”
Ward Rees:
“It’s despicable, Darrell. Roy’s got the fight of a lion, and he’s not going to let this slide. Cross may think he’s righteous, but he’s going to regret picking a fight with Beulah Roy.”
The show fades to a commercial break, leaving fans buzzing about the escalating feud.
Miss Cavendish:
“Oh, please, you peasants. Silence! Your boos are just applause from jealous nobodies!”
The crowd’s jeers grow louder as Cavendish rolls her eyes and takes her place on the couch.
Miss Cavendish:
“Welcome, welcome, to The Dish! The one show in ACE that actually has a touch of class. And speaking of class, let’s bring out my very classy guests—the undefeated, untouchable Barclay Investment Group!”
The arena lights dim as Chase Barclay’s music hits. The crowd boos even louder as Chase Barclay emerges, flanked by Jarvis “The Genius” Allen and Arn Fargo, each holding their respective title belts. The trio smirks as they saunter onto the stage, soaking in the negative energy from the audience.
Barclay takes a seat next to Miss Cavendish, while Allen and Fargo stand behind him, holding their ACE World Tag Team Titles over their shoulders.
Miss Cavendish motions to Chase, handing him the mic as she gushes over him.
Miss Cavendish:
“Chase, darling, another dominant performance at November Reign. How do you do it?”
Chase Barclay (with a smug grin):
“How do I do it, Cavendish? It’s simple. I’m just better than everyone else. November Reign was just another night where I showed the world why I am the best in this business. I vanquished Claude Heuer, proving he’s nothing more than an overrated hack. And as for Amir Fayez—if he wants a piece of me, he’s next on my list of victims!”
Barclay smirks as the crowd chants, “You suck!” He ignores them, passing the mic to Jarvis Allen and Arn Fargo.
Jarvis Allen:
“And let’s not forget about us! Arn and I once again proved why we’re the greatest tag team in the world. November Reign was just another chapter in our dominance. We outsmarted, outwrestled, and outclassed everyone. There’s not a team alive that can hold a candle to us!”
Arn Fargo:
“That’s right, Jarvis. The Barclay Investment Group is untouchable, and at Parade of Champions, we’ll still be on top, holding these titles high!”
The group laughs and high-fives, reveling in their arrogance.
Suddenly, Claude Heuer’s music hits, and the crowd erupts into cheers. Heuer storms onto the stage, flanked by Amir Fayez, who has finally returned from his suspension. Both men are fired up, staring down the smug members of the Barclay Investment Group.
Claude Heuer (grabbing a mic):
“Barclay, Allen, Fargo—you can talk all you want, but everyone knows you cheated to win at November Reign. You’re not champions; you’re cowards!”
The crowd cheers as Heuer glares at Barclay. Fayez steps forward, his voice booming with intensity.
Amir Fayez:
“You three might think you’re untouchable, but your time is coming. At Parade of Champions, Claude and I are taking those tag team titles, and we’ll expose you for the frauds you are!”
The crowd roars as Heuer and Fayez point at the tag belts.
Miss Cavendish interrupts, standing up with a sneer.
Miss Cavendish:
“Hold it right there, you two losers! How dare you come onto my show and disrespect the Barclay Investment Group? Let me make something perfectly clear: at Parade of Champions, Allen and Fargo will whip you so badly, you’ll wish you were never reinstated, Amir! And Claude? You’re just a washed-up nobody who should’ve stayed retired!”
The tension is palpable as the two teams exchange heated words.
The camera cuts back to the commentary table where Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees react to the segment.
Darrell Ryland:
“Wow, things are heating up, Ward! It looks like Claude Heuer and Amir Fayez are officially challenging for the ACE World Tag Team Titles at Parade of Champions!”
Ward Rees:
“And it’s about time! Fayez must finally be reinstated, and he and Heuer are coming for revenge after the Barclay Investment Group’s shenanigans at November Reign. This is going to be explosive!”
The show cuts to commercial as the crowd buzzes in anticipation.
As the show returns from commercial, Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees break down the stakes of the upcoming match.
Darrell Ryland:
“Up next, we’ve got a qualifying match in the hunt for the number one contendership for the ACE World Tag Team Titles! Tonight, it’s The Chaos Riders taking on Nikita Petrov and Count Hammerli Von Fluker of the Foreign Legion.”
Ward Rees:
“And don’t forget, Darrell, the winners here will punch their ticket to Parade of Champions, where they’ll face the winner of next week’s match between the Nigerian Hit Squad and the Samoan Warriors. The competition is fierce, and both teams tonight will leave it all in the ring!”
Nikita Petrov and Count Hammerli Von Fluker, accompanied by Anastasia, make their entrance first. Their music is dark and ominous, and they walk with purpose, sneering at the fans who shower them with boos. Anastasia, in a sharp black dress, leads the way, pointing to her team as if to declare their impending victory.
Suddenly, the sound of roaring motorcycles fills the arena, and the crowd erupts in cheers as The Chaos Riders—Mastadon and Inferno—ride out onto the stage. With leather vests, aviator shades, and an aura of no-nonsense aggression, they rev their bikes before making their way to the ring.
The bell rings, and the two powerhouses, Mastadon and Petrov, kick things off. The two men collide like bulls in the center of the ring, exchanging massive shoulder tackles. Neither budges, and the crowd roars with excitement as they lock up, trying to overpower one another.
Mastadon gains the upper hand with a thunderous body slam, tagging in Inferno. The smaller, quicker Chaos Rider uses a series of strikes and a springboard dropkick to send Petrov reeling into his corner. Von Fluker tags in, and the match heats up as both teams show off their power and technical ability.
After a brief flurry from The Chaos Riders, Von Fluker and Petrov use underhanded tactics to take control. Petrov traps Inferno in their corner, choking him against the turnbuckle while Von Fluker lands a series of heavy strikes. Anastasia cheers them on from ringside, mocking the fans.
Inferno fights back with quick kicks to Von Fluker’s midsection and a jaw-dropping tornado DDT, but just as he’s about to tag Mastadon, General Zhang and Himalaya make their way to ringside. The crowd boos loudly, and Ward Rees is immediately on alert.
The Foreign Legion keeps the pressure on Inferno, but a missed double team allows him to tag in Mastadon. The big man explodes into the ring, leveling Von Fluker with a clothesline and dropping Petrov with a massive powerslam. The action spills outside as all four men brawl around the ring.
Inferno takes flight with a suicide dive, taking out both Petrov and Von Fluker. Meanwhile, Mastadon and Von Fluker are the legal men, and The Chaos Riders set up for their finisher. After a stunning Doomsday Device, Mastadon covers Von Fluker for the 1-2-3!
As The Chaos Riders celebrate in the ring, Himalaya steps onto the apron, towering over the victorious duo. Ward Rees leaves the commentary table, shouting at Himalaya to stay out. Himalaya climbs into the ring, but Rees grabs him from behind and slams his face into the steel ring post, sending the giant staggering.
The crowd roars as Rees grabs a steel chair, ready to deliver a blow to Himalaya. Before he can swing, General Zhang quickly pulls Himalaya away, retreating up the ramp. Zhang and Himalaya glare back at the ring as Rees tosses the chair aside, yelling at them to stay he’s had enough!
Darrell Ryland:
“Ward Rees just sent a message loud and clear to General Zhang and Himalaya—stay out of the match, or face the consequences!”
Ward Rees (returning to the commentary desk):
“That’s right, Darrell. I won’t stand by and let those Foreign Legion goons ruin what was an incredible victory for The Chaos Riders. And I’ll say it again—Himalaya better stay out of my way!”
As the show heads to commercial, The Chaos Riders stand tall in the ring, while Zhang and Himalaya regroup on the stage, furious at what just unfolded.
We’re back and the crowd erupts into cheers as Johnny Roach’s music hits, and the gritty former ACE World Champion slowly makes his way to the ring. Limping slightly and clutching his ribs, Roach looks like a man who’s been through a war but refuses to stay down. His worn, iconic look of dirty jeans and a battered leather jacket only adds to his everyman appeal.
Roach climbs into the ring, wincing slightly, and grabs a microphone from the corner. The Portland fans chant his name, their admiration unwavering despite his recent loss.
Johnny Roach:
“Portland… man, y’all don’t know how much I needed this tonight.”
The crowd roars louder as Roach nods, taking a moment to gather himself.
Johnny Roach:
“You know, it’s been a tough week. Losing this belt…”
He pats his waist, referencing the ACE World Championship.
Johnny Roach:
“…it wasn’t just about losing a title. It’s about losing a piece of me. I’ve fought my whole life to prove I belong in this business, to show that a street kid from New York City could rise up and stand toe-to-toe with the best in the world. And at November Reign… yeah, I came up short.”
The crowd boos, not at him but at the thought of his loss.
Johnny Roach:
“But that’s the thing about me—you can knock me down, you can bust me up, you can take the belt off my waist, but you ain’t gonna keep me down for long!”
The crowd erupts into cheers as Roach’s confidence starts to rise.
Johnny Roach:
“I wanna say thank you to every single one of you here in Portland, and every fan out there across North America who’s had my back. You didn’t just cheer for me when I had the gold; you stuck with me when I lost it. That’s loyalty, and that’s why I’m gonna keep fighting—for you.”
Roach’s voice grows stronger, his passion lighting up the arena.
Johnny Roach:
“Yeah, I’m hurt. Yeah, I’m banged up. But this ain’t the end of the road for Johnny Roach. Nah, not even close! Because if there’s one thing I know how to do, it’s fight. And when I get my shot—whether it’s tomorrow, next month, or next year—you better believe I’ll be ready to take back what’s mine.”
The crowd starts a “Johnny! Johnny!” chant as Roach smiles, pointing at the fans in gratitude.
Johnny Roach:
“So, Tavita Silk… enjoy your moment while it lasts. Parade of Champions is right around the corner, and Austin Adonis is coming for you. But don’t forget—when the smoke clears, and you look over your shoulder, Johnny Roach will be waiting. And next time, I ain’t walking out of that ring empty-handed!”
Roach raises his fist in defiance as the crowd erupts, fully behind their beloved underdog.
Darrell Ryland:
“What a heartfelt message from Johnny Roach! He may not have the gold right now, but his spirit is unbroken!”
Ward Rees:
“That’s what makes Roach so dangerous, Darrell. He’s not just fighting for himself—he’s fighting for every person who’s ever believed in him. And when a man’s got that kind of fire, you can never count him out.”
As Roach exits the ring, slapping hands with fans on his way back up the ramp, the broadcast transitions to a recap of the night’s earlier matches.
The crowd in Portland is electric as Judge Joe Ridge’s music hits, and the no-nonsense powerhouse steps onto the stage. With his gavel held high, Ridge marches to the ring, slapping hands with fans on his way. His presence radiates authority, and the fans chant his name as he climbs into the ring, ready for action.
The atmosphere shifts as the triumphant, patriotic music of Cael Gardner plays, but it’s drowned out by jeers. The ACE Television Champion emerges, flanked by the scheming General Zhang, who directs him to the ring with smug confidence. Gardner raises his title high, drawing boos from the crowd, while Ward Rees calls out Zhang’s history of interference.
As the bell rings, Ridge wastes no time, immediately charging at Gardner and taking control with his raw power. A series of shoulder tackles sends the champion reeling into the corner. Ridge capitalizes with hard-hitting strikes, wearing Gardner down, before hoisting him up for a big slam. Ridge covers for the first pin attempt, but Gardner kicks out at one, showcasing his resilience.
Gardner tries to use his speed and technical skill to shift momentum, but Ridge cuts him off repeatedly with brute strength. A belly-to-belly suplex sends Gardner flying across the ring, and the crowd erupts in cheers. Ridge attempts another pin, this time getting a two-count, but Gardner escapes.
Gardner uses his Olympic-level conditioning to his advantage, dodging Ridge’s strikes and focusing on his legs with precision kicks. Ridge starts to slow down as Gardner takes control, locking him in a modified single-leg crab. Ridge struggles, reaching the ropes to force a break.
Meanwhile, General Zhang moves closer to the ring apron, drawing the ire of Ward Rees on commentary.
Ward Rees:
“I’ve got my eye on that snake Zhang. He can’t help himself when one of his men is in trouble!”
Ridge fights back, countering a takedown attempt with a massive suplex that shakes the ring. The crowd comes alive as Ridge builds momentum, connecting with a thunderous spinebuster and covering for another near-fall.
Gardner digs deep, using his technical prowess to regain control. A sharp German suplex stuns Ridge, followed by a second one. Gardner lifts Ridge for the Olympic Slam, but Ridge counters with a powerful back elbow and hits a huge overhead suplex. Ridge goes for the pin, but Gardner kicks out at 2.9!
Both men are exhausted as Ridge signals for his Gavel Drop. He hoists Gardner up, but Gardner wriggles free and locks in a surprise ankle lock. Ridge scrambles and reaches the ropes to break the hold.
Gardner seizes the opening, launching into his signature sequence. He hits a rolling gutwrench suplex and lifts Ridge for a second attempt at the Olympic Slam, this time planting him hard in the center of the ring. Gardner hooks the leg and gets the 1-2-3 at 14:44.
Gardner snatches his ACE Television Title from the referee and glares at Ward Rees as he exits the ring. Grabbing a mic, Gardner points toward the announce desk.
Cael Gardner:
“Rees, you better keep your nose out of Foreign Legion business, or I’ll make sure you regret it. Got it?”
Rees stands up from commentary, staring down Gardner as the crowd boos loudly. General Zhang pulls Gardner toward the ramp, smirking as his champion holds the title high.
Darrell Ryland:
“Cael Gardner retains, but you can’t ignore the effort Judge Joe Ridge put into this match. He was so close to dethroning the champ!”
Ward Rees:
“Gardner can talk all he wants, but I’m not afraid of him or that weasel Zhang. This isn’t over, not by a long shot.”
As Gardner and Zhang disappear backstage, the show fades to black with Judge Joe Ridge recovering in the ring, the crowd cheering for his valiant effort.
