ACE Marquee - 11/5/24

 ACE Marquee - Winnipeg, Canada - 11/5/24

As ACE Marquee kicks off, Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees set the scene for an exciting night in Winnipeg, discussing the stakes of the Tournament of Aces quarterfinals. They highlight the importance of tonight’s matchups, with Keme Dakotah facing the dangerous Simbi Loa and Cody Montana taking on Calgary Hart. With Reverend Elijah Cross and Austin Adonis already advancing, Ryland and Rees note the high intensity around these quarterfinals as everyone vies for a chance at becoming the “Ace of ACE.”

After Simbi Loa and Keme Dakotah make their entrances, the match begins with Dakotah charging forward, hitting Loa with quick strikes that force him on the defensive. Loa recovers with a vicious knee to the midsection, grounding Dakotah and shifting the momentum. The two trade hard-hitting offense, with Loa using his power to wear down Dakotah, while Dakotah relies on his agility and technical skill to stay in the fight.

The crowd roars as Cody Montana appears on the stage with Slim Elroy beside him, both watching intently. For a split second, Dakotah’s focus falters, his eyes narrowing as he notices Montana. Loa seizes the opportunity, hitting Dakotah with a crushing spinebuster that nearly gets the three-count, but Dakotah kicks out just in time. Frustrated, Loa lifts Dakotah, looking to end things, but Dakotah slips out of Loa’s grasp, countering with a rapid Tomahawk Chop from the second rope, which sends Loa stumbling back.

Wasting no time, Dakotah capitalizes and locks in his signature Indian Deathlock in the center of the ring. Loa struggles, trying to fight the hold, but the crowd’s energy fuels Dakotah, who tightens his grip. Finally, after a valiant effort, Loa taps out at 14:47, giving Dakotah the victory and securing his place in the semifinals.

After the match, Dakotah grabs a mic and, still catching his breath, directs his gaze to Montana on the stage.

“Montana, don’t think for a second that our war is over! Whether I meet you in Seattle to prove who the real ‘Ace of ACE’ is or somewhere else, I’m coming for you. This journey’s just beginning,” he says, his voice steady but laced with intensity.

Montana smirks, nodding in acknowledgment before he and Elroy make their way backstage. The crowd cheers for Dakotah, who stands tall in the ring, feeding off their support as he looks toward the next stage of his journey.

As we return from commercial, the camera cuts to the parking lot just as Claude Heuer steps out of his sleek luxury car, looking effortlessly stylish in his tailored suit and expensive sunglasses. He’s barely shut the car door when Jarvis “The Genius” Allen and Arn Fargo leap out from behind a nearby SUV and launch a sudden, brutal ambush. Caught off guard, Heuer is struck with a flurry of punches from Allen and Fargo, who drive him backward against his vehicle.

Just as Heuer tries to fend them off, Chase Barclay appears, joining in on the assault, stomping him repeatedly as Allen and Fargo hold him down. The three members of Barclay Investment Group show no mercy, beating Heuer to the ground while taunting him.

Then, from the shadows, Miss Cavendish steps into the scene, her expression cold and unyielding as she berates Heuer. “You should’ve stayed in Hollywood, Claude,” she sneers. “Stuck your nose in B.I.G. business, and now you’re paying the price!”

With Heuer weakened on the ground, clutching his ribs in pain, Barclay and his cohorts smirk, clearly satisfied with the damage they’ve inflicted. One by one, they file into a waiting black limo. As it pulls away, the camera zooms in on Heuer, who manages to lift his head, his gaze full of steely determination despite his pain.

The scene fades as medical personnel arrive to assist Heuer, who, even in his injured state, appears unfazed in his mission to take down Barclay Investment Group.

As we return to ringside, Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees react with concern to the brutal ambush on Claude Heuer in the parking lot. Rees draws a parallel to last week’s vicious attack by the Sons of Samoa on Johnny Roach and says it seems the theme of ambushes and gang beatdowns is becoming the B.I.G. and Sons of Samoa way. With that, it’s time for Kimo and Tua, the imposing Samoan Warriors, to take on Air RaidTalon Towns and Hawk Hensley.

The match starts with Kimo squaring off against Talon Towns, and it’s quickly evident that the Sons of Samoa are out to send a message. Kimo bullies Towns into the corner with hard-hitting strikes before tagging in Tua. The Samoan Warriors work like a well-oiled machine, employing quick tags and brutal power moves that keep Talon isolated from his partner. Tua launches Talon with a massive belly-to-belly suplex, and Kimo follows up by crushing him with a corner splash, leaving Towns barely able to stand.

Talon finally manages to wriggle free from Kimo’s grip and lunges to tag in Hawk Hensley. Hawk enters with energy, hitting Kimo with a flying shoulder tackle that rocks the big man. He charges at Tua, knocking him off the apron, but his momentum is quickly halted when Kimo counters a flying crossbody attempt, catching him mid-air and slamming him down with a thunderous Samoan drop. The crowd rallies behind Air Raid, but Kimo and Tua’s raw power is too much.

The end comes when Kimo, now back in control, winds up and delivers a devastating Samoan Spike to Talon Towns, who collapses to the mat. Kimo covers for the pin, and Referee Ted Steiner counts the 1-2-3, ending the match at 7:23.

After their victory, Tavita Silk enters the ring, joining Kimo and Tua as they revel in their dominance. But before they can celebrate further, the AtlasTron flickers to life. The screen reveals Johnny Roachand The Chaos RidersMastadon and Inferno—looking battered but resolved.

The Chaos Riders take the mic first, Mastadon growling, “Kimo, Tua, you think you can keep us down? You think jumping us makes you stronger? We’ll be back next week, and we’re bringing hell with us.”

Inferno adds, “You woke up something you can’t put down. Next week, you’ll feel the full fury of The Chaos Riders.”

Then, Johnny Roach steps forward, locking eyes with the camera. “Silk, you may think you’re the predator, but come November Reign, you’ll be the prey. In a steel cage, there’ll be no escape, no backup. Just you, me, and the reckoning you’ve got coming.”

The Sons of Samoa glare at the screen, and the arena roars with anticipation for the cage match showdown as we fade to commercial.

As we return from commercial, the tension in the air is palpable as Calgary Hart and The Wild Stallion Cody Montana prepare to face off in the final quarterfinal match of the 2024 Tournament of Aces. The Winnipeg crowd is firmly behind Hart, the former ACE Television Champion, as he makes his way to the ring, looking focused and determined. Meanwhile, Cody Montana enters with his trademark swagger, flanked by his manager, Slim Elroy, who’s smirking as he whispers final words of strategy to Montana.

The match kicks off with an explosive start, as Hart uses his speed to evade Montana’s early strikes and counters with precise technical maneuvers, targeting Montana’s left arm to weaken his Hangman Rope DDT finisher. Montana, however, counters Hart’s technical prowess with brute strength, catching him with a powerful spinebuster that leaves Hart reeling. The two wrestlers continue to trade momentum in an exhilarating display of styles—Hart’s agility and technical skill versus Montana’s hard-hitting power and ruthless tactics.

At one point, Hart attempts a springboard crossbody, but Montana sidesteps it, causing Hart to crash hard to the mat. Montana capitalizes with stomps and a suplex, taunting the crowd, which only seems to fuel Hart’s resilience. As the match goes on, Slim Elroy becomes a factor, seizing every opportunity to distract the referee or shout encouragement to Montana. After a brief scuffle outside the ring, Hart fights back, rallying with a series of high-flying moves, including a beautiful standing dropkick and a tornado DDT that brings the crowd to its feet.

With the match nearing its end, Hart manages to lock Montana in a Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring, and the fans go wild as Montana writhes in pain, clawing his way toward the ropes. Just as he’s about to tap, Slim Elroy distracts the referee, allowing Montana to rake Hart’s eyes and break free of the hold.

With Hart momentarily blinded, Montana seizes the opportunity, positioning him for his finisher. In one swift motion, Montana delivers the Hangman Rope DDT, driving Hart into the mat with authority. He hooks the leg as the referee counts the 1-2-3, ending the match at 14:07 and securing Montana’s spot in the Tournament of Aces semifinals.

After the match, Slim Elroy joins Montana in the ring, handing him a mic as the crowd rains down boos. Montana grins, wiping the sweat from his brow as he paces the ring, staring down at the defeated Calgary Hart.

“Keme Dakotah,” Montana sneers, “you think you’re coming for me? Think again, kid. The Wild Stallion’s just getting started, and if you want to take me down, you better bring everything you’ve got.”

He then turns his attention to Austin Adonis, his next opponent in the semifinals. “Adonis, next week in Milwaukee, you’ll be face-to-face with the best damn cowboy in this business. So get ready, because when the dust settles, you’re looking at the next Ace of ACE!”

With that, Montana and Slim Elroy exit the ring, leaving a bruised Calgary Hart behind, as the Winnipeg crowd voices their disapproval. The stage is set for Montana’s showdown with Adonis, with everyone wondering if Keme Dakotah will get his shot at vengeance in the tournament finals.

As we return from commercial, the ominous strains of church organ music fill the arena, and the lights dim to reveal Reverend Elijah Cross at his grand pulpit on the stage, bathed in an ethereal spotlight. With his usual air of self-righteousness, he opens his Crossfire Sermon with a twisted, invented scripture, proclaiming, “As it is written in the Book of the Cross, ‘The lost shall wander, and only those worthy will be led to salvation… by me!’” The crowd responds with loud boos, but Cross merely smirks, seemingly feeding off their disdain.

He continues, taking his time to lean over the pulpit and emphasize every word, “Tonight, I welcome a guest who calls himself a hero. A man who struts around, flexing his muscles and flaunting his empty charisma. A true charlatan, a fool… ladies and gentlemen, I give you… Austin Adonis!

The fans explode in cheers as Austin Adonis’s music hits, and he strides onto the stage, beaming as he flexes his biceps and gives his signature “Hollywood” grin to the Winnipeg crowd. Adonis approaches Cross with a confident swagger, his charisma lighting up the entire stage. But Cross, unamused, looks at Adonis with disgust, tapping his fingers impatiently on his pulpit.

Cross scoffs, launching into his verbal tirade. “Adonis,” he sneers, “you represent everything wrong with this society—superficiality, vanity, deceit. You call yourself a hero, but you are merely a hollow shell, a performer who preys on the gullible minds of these people for applause.”

Adonis grins, clearly unphased by Cross’s words. He raises his mic and addresses the audience: “Well, let me tell you somethin’, Reverend! These people know what’s real, and they know that I’m here to entertain and to fight for them! I don’t need no sermons, no pulpit, and certainly no Reverend Cross tellin’ me who I am!”

The crowd erupts, cheering as Adonis’s energy ignites the arena. He leans into Cross, smiling wide, “So how about you step down from that little soapbox of yours and let’s see what you’ve got!”

Before Cross can respond, Cody Montana blindsides Adonis with a vicious strike to the back of the head! The crowd gasps as Adonis stumbles, caught off-guard. Montana, fresh off his victory in the tournament quarterfinals, stands over Adonis with a wicked grin, his eyes full of malice.

Cross steps back, a smug smile creeping onto his face as Montana rains down punches on Adonis, driving him to the ground. He shouts, “So much for your ‘hero,’” fueling the crowd’s boos as he watches Montana’s ruthless assault.

Adonis tries to fight back, but Montana quickly overpowers him, whipping him into the steel structure of the pulpit, causing it to rattle from the impact. Adonis staggers, his Hollywood confidence shaken, but the crowd rallies behind him, chanting his name.

Montana taunts him, “Next week, Adonis, it’s gonna be you and me, and when we’re done, there won’t be anything left for these fans to cheer!” He delivers one final, devastating Hangman Rope DDT on the stage, leaving Adonis sprawled out, motionless.

Cross looks down at the fallen Adonis with a look of pure satisfaction, then addresses the audience, declaring, “This… this is what happens to those who walk the path of false idols. Take note, for there will be more to come.”

The segment ends with Cross and Montana standing over Adonis, soaking in the boos as the screen fades to black, setting the stage for the high-stakes showdown between Adonis and Montana in the Tournament of Aces semifinals next week.

As we return from commercial, Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees recap the vicious attack Johnny Roach suffered last week at the hands of the Sons of Samoa, only for Beulah Roy to storm in and send Tavita SilkKimo, and Tua scrambling. Tonight, the bad blood between Silk and Roy reaches a boiling point as these two brutes are set to clash in the main event. The crowd buzzes with anticipation, knowing this encounter is bound to be a violent, intense showdown.

Beulah Roy’s music hits first, and he storms down the ramp, barely taking in the fans’ cheers. His eyes are locked on the ring, his fists clenched in anticipation. It’s clear Roy didn’t come to wrestle—he came for a fight. As he enters the ring, he paces like a caged lion, waiting for Silk to arrive.

The arena lights dim as Tavita Silk’s music thunders through the speakers. Silk emerges, a dark grin on his face, flanked by Kimo and Tua, the powerful Samoan enforcers. The trio stops at the top of the ramp, glaring down at Roy, who’s beckoning Silk to join him in the ring. Silk shares a quick nod with Kimo and Tua, who remain at ringside as he saunters down the ramp.

The moment Silk steps through the ropes, Beulah Roy charges forward, catching him off guard with a flurry of punches. Silk is staggered, but quickly fires back, and the two immediately begin brawling like two heavyweights fighting for survival. The referee attempts to intervene, trying to maintain some semblance of order, but Roy shoves him aside, unrelenting in his assault on Silk.

Roy grabs Silk by the head and throws him over the top rope, sending him crashing to the floor. Not hesitating for a moment, Roy scales the top rope and launches himself at Silk, tackling him to the ground in a chaotic display that sends the crowd into a frenzy.

The fight spills into the audience, with Roy and Silk trading vicious punches as they make their way through the rows of fans. Roy grabs a fan’s chair and slams it into Silk’s back, prompting Silk to howl in pain. Silk retaliates by shoving Roy backward, sending him toppling into the guardrail. The crowd is roaring, surrounding the two fighters as they exchange bone-crunching blows.

After a few more brutal exchanges, they brawl their way back toward ringside. Silk grabs Roy and slams him onto the announcer’s table, causing Darrell Ryland and Ward Rees to scramble out of the way. Roy rolls off the table, clutching his back in pain, but he’s not done. He crawls back to his feet, only to find Kimo and Tua closing in on him.

Roy, undeterred, swings at Kimo, landing a powerful right hook that sends him reeling. Tua tries to catch him off guard, but Roy blocks the attack, throwing an elbow into Tua’s jaw. With both Samoan Warriors temporarily stunned, Roy goes after Silk again, tackling him up the entrance ramp.

But now the numbers game comes into play. Kimo and Tua recover and join their leader, surrounding Roy. The three Samoans overpower him, delivering crushing stomps and slams as they drag him up the steel ramp. Roy struggles, refusing to back down, but the Sons of Samoa are relentless.

At the top of the ramp, Silk barks orders at Kimo and Tua, who hold Roy up by his arms. Silk, with a wicked glint in his eye, delivers a thunderous headbutt to Roy’s forehead, causing him to slump in his captors’ grip. But they don’t let him fall—Kimo and Tua hold him upright as Silk levels him with a brutal kick to the ribs, doubling him over in pain.

The crowd is on their feet, jeering the Sons of Samoa, but Silk isn’t finished. He orders Kimo to lift Roy up, and with a quick motion, Kimo delivers a devastating Samoan Drop onto the steel stage. Roy writhes in pain, clutching his back, as Silk and his crew stand tall, looming over their battered opponent.

As ACE Marquee goes off the air, the camera captures Beulah Roy lying motionless on the stage, with Tavita Silk, Kimo, and Tua standing over him, soaking in the boos from the crowd. The Sons of Samoa raise their fists in victory, sending a clear message to Johnny Roach, the ACE roster, and the entire ACE fanbase that they won’t stop until they dominate Atlas Championship Entertainment.
